Dr. Yumei Huang, President & CEO
Yumei Huang is a seasoned researcher with over 25 years of experience in chemistry and biology, specializing in conjugation chemistry and drug development. She founded CellMosaic in 2008 to advance bioconjugation and drug delivery technologies, developing key products like PerKit™ and AqueaTether® (AqT®). She holds over 20 patents and has led the company to receive major awards, including grants from the NIH and DOD.
Previously, she worked at Johnson Matthey and Ensemble Therapeutics, and co-founded Alta Scientific Ltd.
Yumei earned her Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University and conducted postdoctoral research at MIT under Nobel Laureate H. Gobind Khorana. She also holds degrees from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and NanKai University.
Dr. Subi Dey, CTO
Subi Dey brings over 25 years of expertise in chemistry, molecular biology, mass spectrometry, and clinical diagnostics. He joined CellMosaic in 2019 to lead technology initiatives, including product development, applications of AqT™ technologies, and IP creation. He also manages customer projects and contributes to strategic planning and marketing.
Previously, Subi led IVD assay R&D at Sciex (Danaher), launching the first FDA-cleared mass spec-based Vitamin D test and standardizing IVD assay processes. At Applied Biosystems, he helped develop key proteomics tools like iTRAQ® and Amplifex™ reagents. He holds over 20 patents and has numerous publications.
Subi earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University, with postdoctoral work at Northwestern, and an M.Sc. from IIT Kanpur.
